Strength test results for accelerated-cured specimens, obtained after only 24 hours, are used to predict the 28 day strength of concrete according to the Hot and Warm Accelerated Concrete Curing Methods (ASTM C684-1)
This method is used extensively in major
plants to avoid large scale mistakes.
CDR's accelerated curing tank HiH-BTH is the appropriate appliance you need for accelerated
curing of your specimen in every laboratory.
The water tank is made of stainless steel (304) with a capacity of 30 cubic (150mm) specimens shared in two racks (two levels). The
outer walls are made of galvanized sheet steel finished off in white enamel. Insulation is made of high density mineral wool.
The water
is heated with electric elements and the temperature is controlled with a PID microprocessor controller with an accuracy of ± 0,7oCwithin a range of the ambient temperature to 100 oC. Continuous water circulation system assuring ideal temperature uniformity even
if curing bath is loaded with the maximum specimen capacity.
