CDR CHRYSSAGIS originally established in 1954 initially servicing commercial refrigerators. Since 1988 it is manufacturing under the trademark CDR © environment controlled chambers for scientific laboratories, material testing appliances used exclusively in industrial quality control laboratories and seed germination rooms as well as graft plant growth rooms for horticulture producers.

The technical knowledge and manufacturing tradition of the company are firmly established by the large number of specialized products and witnessed by the wide customer list. CDR products are well known for the well balanced quality and reliability for their price.

Today CDR is working in order to attain the highest possible market penetration in the international market. CDR products are exported in Cyprus, Kuwait, Oman, Turkey, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Albania and Switzerland.

Knauf USG plan in Volos is manufacturing AQUAPANEL® cement boards for interior and exterior construction applications. One of the advantages of AQUAPANEL® cement boards is their strength in low temperatures. Knauf USG production quality control department is now using CDR’s freeze and thaw test chamber model FRZ/wa Ramp for the determination of frost resistance of AQUAPANEL cement boards.
CDR’s freeze and thaw test chambers are really valuable for every industrial quality control lab or for every metrology lab because it can automatically and with high precision repeat frost resistance test procedure without the need of laboratory staff.

For the last 12 years CDR is supporting successfully their quality control department with stability test chambers. Recently CDR installed their 7th ENVIMED chamber equipped with the DX SECURE system.

CDR has installed in their new state of the art manufacturing facility at Sapes, Rodopi the new and advanced model ENVIMED 27CMP3-DX. This walk-in model regardless the big working space provides extremely high specifications (stability
± 0,5? C & ±2 RH%) test space and they ordered a 27,3m2 walk-in ENVIMED-DX chamber from CDR.
The advanced optional DX SECURE system incorporates two fully equipped conditioning systems that periodically and automatically are interchanging as main and backup systems. DX SECURE is the best way to be sure that the large quantities of specimen are 100% safe even after an unexpected component failure and that the service department has always enough time for repair.
The ENVIMED CMP3-DX stability test chamber is also monitored and controlled remotely from any computer that is connected through intranet or internet.

CDR's main business plan for 2014 is the expansion in the international market. So the very first order for this year that came from MICRO Engineering Company in Bangladesh is more than welcome as a sign of the future.
Micro Engineering CDR’s agent in Bangladesh is a trade company involved with the scientific and agricultural market. CDR’s seed germinators will support quality control at Bangladesh state department.

ALKE the biggest veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in the Tokat region has placed an order for a CDR ENVIMED walk-in stability test room which is going to be installed in June 2014. ALKE has concluded that CDR’s high quality stability rooms are the proper solution to conform to GMP standards as well as to be able to be harmonized with future regulations.

CDR is manufacturing different models for:
1. The determination of frost resistance of cement boards (ASTM C1186-08 or EN).

The determination of frost resistance of clay roofing tiles and fittings (EN 539-2)

3. The determination of frost resistance of the tensile adhesion strength of cementitious ceramic tile adhesives (EN 1348).
4 The durability of manufactured concrete masonry units and related concrete units (ASTM C1262-05a).
